Donald Earl Benson, aged 84 years of Belle Plaine, SK, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 7th, 2017 in Central Butte, SK. Don was born on June 10th, 1932 in Rouleau, SK. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Don married Edna on February 15th, 1952 in Regina, SK and started the family trucking business, which he operated until his passing. He was predeceased by his wife, Edna; son-in-law, Bill Geiger; and granddaughter, Bobbie-Jo Geiger. Don will be lovingly remembered by his four children: Warren (Darlyn) Benson, Darrell (Cindy) Benson, Debra Geiger, and Douglas (Adele) Benson; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 12th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place at Moose Jaw Indoor Columbarium.
