Our hearts are saddened as we report the loss of a sister, aunt and dear friend Mary Catherine Kennedy (71); which occurred Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at her late residence Seaview Manor.
She was a daughter of the late Angus Stephen and Jane (Quann) MacDonald. She was always focused on family; she walked everywhere and cherished her animals, especially Toby and Ginger.
Mary Catherine is survived by son, Billy (Gena), Greenwood, NS; three grandchildren, Brett, Mitchel and Tyler; sisters, Jane Cluett, Glace Bay and Sharon Belliveau, London, ON; brother, Jim, Toronto. She was the beloved aunt of Annette and her children, Adrian and Alexis. She is also survived by nephew, Albert (Tammy) and their children, Matthew and Ethan, and niece, Tammy Belliveau.
She was predeceased by her brother, ‘Bud’ and by many close relatives.
Cremation has taken place under the direction and care of Curry’s Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be offered tomorrow (Friday) at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, 775 Main St., Glace Bay.
