Passed peacefully away at the Brampton Civic Hospital on Friday, May 12, 2017 surrounded by her family, Ruth Bernice Yvonne Penney (Kean) age 73 years. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Priscilla Kean and brother Edward Gordon. Left to celebrate her life, her husband Harold; daughter Lisa (John); son Scott; 4 grandchildren John-Bryce, Aaron, Mackenzie and Emma; her mother-in-law Drucilla; her brothers Sterling (Beverly), Cecil (Cathy) and their families; her sister-in-law Shirley (Ivan) and brother-in-law Clyde (Valerie) and their families; other relatives and friends. Visitation at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd., St. John's, on Thursday, May 18 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral service at the Memorial United Church in Portugal Cove will be held on Friday, May 19 at 2:00 p.m., with the burial to follow at the United Church Cemetery on Bauline Line Ext.
