Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 at Chancellor Park, John Patrick Thompson, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Stella Thompson (Butler); brother Jim Thompson; sisters Elizabeth Westcott and Annie Owens; granddaughter Tina Davis. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Ann Davis (Larry MacDonald) and Mary Hart (Edward); son John Thompson of Ontario; grandchildren: Debbie Davis, Tania Davis and Stephen Hart; great-grandchildren: Brian Davis, Cheyanne Hart and James Davis; brother William Thompson; sister Mary Tucker; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and extended family. Special thank you to the staff of Chancellor Park for the care and support shown to John during his stay. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 19th. A private committal service will take place at a later date.
