The death occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, New Brunswick on Friday May 19, 2017 of Roy Vincent McRae of Jude Point aged 75 years. Beloved husband of 50 years to Nowell (Henderson) McRae. He was born in Jude’s Point on October 5, 1941, the son of the late Edward and Stella (Bernard) McRae. Dear father to Sharon (Audrey); Connie (Gordan); Vincent (Cathy); Nelson (Ray); Tracey (Scott); Melissa (Jason); Darcy (Tracy) and Sarah (Robin). Loving grandfather to 18 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is also survived by brothers and sisters James (Ivan); Ann (David); late Frances (Gerald); Gerald (Cecilia); Donna (Grant); Annette; Earl (late Tracy); Elmer (Sandra) and Ernest. He was predeceased by parents Edward and Stella, sisters Frances and Christine, brother Leo in infancy and granddaughter Hailey. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, visiting hours where held Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Monday 2-4 p.m. Funeral was held Monday May 22, 2017 at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 6 p.m. Celebrant Rev.
