The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Saturday, May 20, 2017 of Ferne Ellis, of Summerside, aged 98 years. Born in Poplar Grove, she was the daughter of the late Reagh and Mabel (Stewart) Williams. Survived by her daughters Mabel (Alan) Crue, Marion (Claude) Waugh, Marlene (Bob) Cameron; and by her son Wayne Ellis (Diane Racette). Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Eileen Williams; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Ellis; sons David and Wendell Ellis; and by her brother David Williams. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Port Hill. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the P.E.I.
