Passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, May 20, 2017 of Bella Hood of Charlottetown, age 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Hood and loving mother of Stephen (Carolyn) and Robbie Hood (Julie Lyn). Bella will be lovingly remembered by her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters - Sr. Marie Gaudet CND and Bernie Gaudet and her brother - Armand Gaudet (Gladys). She was predeceased by her son - David Hood, parents - Sylvere and Therese (nee Gallant) Gaudet, brother - Julian Gaudet and sister - Sr. Sylvina Gaudet CND. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home for visitation Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 4 - 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment will take place later. The Charlottetown Nurses Alumni will hold a prayer service prior to visiting hours at 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
