MILL BROOK - It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Amy Fraser, age 76, Mill Brook, Pictou Co., announces her sudden passing on April 7, 2007 at home. Evelyn was born July 16, 1930, at Fanning Brook, P.E.I., and was the twin daughter of the late Wallace and Florrie (Jay) Wooldridge. She was a member of the Mill Brook Community Centre and was a great cook and enjoyed baking, especially her rolled oat cookies. She enjoyed word search and playing skip-boo with her grandchildren. A devoted wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years Lloyd MacLeod Fraser; children, Leonard (Donna), Mill Brook; Beverly Clark (Dave), Oxford; Allan (Mary), Scotsburn; Elwood (Mary), Pleasant Valley; Iva (Keith Campbell), Westville; Dale Roddick (Bill), Mill Brook; Velda Fulmore (David), Pictou; Helen O'Connor (Chuck), Anderson's Mountain; grandchildren: Daniel Fraser, Amy Cameron (Steve); Jennifer and Donald Clark; Leanne (Andr%C3%A9) and Kevin Fraser; Christopher Fraser; Blair and Yvonne Salter; Ryan, Fraser and Nick Roddick; Michelle and Jamie Fulmore; Devin and Jeffrey O'Connor; step-grandchildren: Janine Lynds (John), Lynn Berkelaar (Merv), Debbie Gomes (Jeremy), Stephen Campbell (Tanya), great-step-grandchildren, Ethan Campbell, Kelsey and Meghan Lynds; sisters: Lena Myers, Edna Steele, Cecelia MacLean, Flora Mullen (Don), Doris Birt (Billie); brothers, Rennie and Russell Wooldridge. She was predeceased by sister, Nora Jay, and twin sister Olga Jay; brothers, Bruce and Leith Wooldridge. Visitations will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Mill Brook Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to the Mill Brook Cemetery or to a charity of one's choice.
