BURKE, LLOYD DOUGLAS The death of Lloyd D. Burke of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, December 30th, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Leo and Ellen (MacKinnon) Burke, and husband of Jean (McGibbon) Burke of Fredericton, NB. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife, Jean (McGibbon) Burke; sons, Donald (Rita) of Ottawa, ON, James (Pauline) of Ottawa, ON and Joseph (Denise) of Fredericton, NB; daughters, Patricia Hughes (Donald) of Calgary, AB and Roberta Collins (Larry) of Tampa, FL; sister, Merne Fitzgerald (Brian) of Cape Breton; eight beloved grandchildren, Alanna, Connor, Shawn, Elizabeth, Whitney, Samuel, Kathleen and Rebecca, as well as several nieces and nephews Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 4th, 2006 at 12 noon. Rev. Gerry White as celebrant.
