WINIFRED BURNHAM

BURNHAM, WINIFRED The death of Winifred Burnham occurred on Friday, December 22nd, 2006 at York Manor in Fredericton. Born in London, England in 1905, the daughter of the late Frank and Lydia Elderfield, and wife of the late Walter Burnham of Upper Coverdale. She was a member of the St. John's Anglican Church in Salisbury for many years and more recently a member of Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton. She was an active member of many church women's groups, including a life member of the ACW and a member of the Five Points Women's Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Cursillo. She is survived by her daughter, Ethel Saunders (Reid) of Fredericton; and son, Fenwick Burnham (Doreen) of Upper Coverdale. She left behind five grandchildren, Pam Miller (David) Ottawa, Kim Norden (Stephen) Manhurst, Gwyn Schellenberg (David) Fredericton, David Burnham (Winnifred) Upper Coverdale, Shelley Dyet (Steve) Cambridge, Ont.; her 13 great-grandchildren are Emily and Jonathan Miller, Nicholas and Melinda Guitard, Kate, Michael and Lisa Schellenberg, Kayla, Lindy and Mandy Burnham, and Laura, Jessica and Tyler Dyet. Resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, Petitcodiac with visitation from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, December 26th, 2006. The funeral service will be held at Armstrong's Funeral Home at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 with Rev. Canon Snelgrove officiating, assisted by The Very Rev. Keith Joyce.
