BELYEA, JOYCE ARDATH Passed away at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on December 23rd, 2006. Born in Fredericton, November 2nd, 1926, she was the daughter of John Allen Belyea and Bessie Alberta Harrison. From 1945 to 1951 she worked as a secretary for the Highway Division of the New Brunswick Department of Public Works; then from 1951 to 1986 she was Secretary to the Comptroller at the University of New Brunswick. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Wees (Ian) of Ottawa; a nephew, Eric M. Wees (Yvonne), also of Ottawa; and many friends. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit of the DEC Hospital. Cremation, with interment to follow next spring in the Wilmot Rural Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced later. Donations, if desired, to the Fredericton Public Library, the Fredericton SPCA, or the Fredericton Music Festival.
