72, Howie Centre It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Robert McMullin, which occurred on Friday July 3, 2008 at home. Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Robert and Janie (MacIntyre) McMullin. Robert was employed with Devco for over 30 years until his retirement. In his pastime he enjoyed carpentry, spending time with his family and his best buddy, Pooch. Robert is survived by his loving wife and dear friend of 51 years, Catherine (Morrison) McMullin; children, Debbie McMullin, Bev McMullin (Doug Slade), Michael (Leslie) McMullin, Joe (Bobbi) McMullin, all of Ontario; one sister, Mary McMullin, Glace Bay; two brothers, Frank (Lorna) McMullin, Glace Bay, Mick (Brenda) McMullin, Petawawa, Ontario, as well as five grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Stephen, Alex, and Cody. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Cathy McMullin. At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
