GREEN, SHIRLEY JUANITA (BARR) - Mrs. Shirley Juanita (Barr) Green, wife of Lincoln H. Green, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, at her residence on Monday June 21, 2004. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late G. M. Ted and Hennrietta "Etta" (Boyd) Barr. Shirley was a member of the Branch 69 Ladies Auxillary and a long time member of St. Judes Anglican Church. She was an avid reader, loved crosswords, knitting, music and dancing. She loved a healthy debate and was a fabulous cook. Shirley's most active involvement was with her family. Family was everything to her and she will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone. In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by sons Randy (Geraldine), Hampton, NB, Richard (Vicki), Nanaimo, BC, daughter Shirley "Bobesy" Green, Saint John, NB, brother Paul (Jackie) Barr, Dartmouth, NS, sisters Joan "Bucky" Cannon, Dartmouth, NS, and Connie (Jim) Heighton, Hampton, NB, grandchildren David and Randi, great grandson Tyler, aunts Lena Maguire and Lottie Evans, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by son Lorne David, grandchildren Jason, Colleen and Anna, siblings Dennis Randall, George Randall, George Miles and Marilyn Sandra Barr. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, (634-1701) with visiting Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday June 25, 2004 from Fallsview Chapel at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Society or charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
