STANLEY DALEY

DALEY, STANLEY - Stanley Daley, 89, of Salmon Beach, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Clifton, he was the son of the late Leonard and Amanda (Fitzpatrick) Daley. He worked at the former Consolidated Bathurst Paper Mill, retiring in 1980 and was a member of the company's Quarter Century Club. He was a member of the Anglican Parish of New Bandon, Saint George's Anglican Church, Bathurst and the Gild of Saint Joseph. Besides his wife, Gertrude (Knowles) he is survived by Four children, Sharon Miller (The Rt. Rev. Claude) of Fredericton, Amy Theriault (Brent) and Laurie Daley (Ethel) both of Salmon Beach, Randall Daley (Katherine) of Dauphin, MB; Two brothers, Fenton Daley (Clara) of Bathurst, Oscar Daley (Olga) of Oakville, Ont.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Rillen; sister, Helen; and brothers, Sherman and Lloyd. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Saint George's Anglican Church, King Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Bridge St., in the spring. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
