WHITE, M. GERALDINE - The death of Marion Geraldine White of Saint John, NB, a resident of Crow's Nest Manor, occurred on Monday, December 29th, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Port Wade, Annapolis Co., NS in 1909, she was the daughter of the late Fred Lorne and Alice Genevra (Teed) White. Geraldine taught school in Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia before joining the Department of Consumer Affairs in Saint John where she was employed for over thirty-three years. She was a resident of Saint John since 1942 and a long time member of the Full Gospel Assembly where she was active with the youth and the visitation program. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Fred and Leigh. Surviving is a niece, Dawn Sapuntzoff of Florida, USA and five grandnephews and grandnieces. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday, January 1st, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from the Full Gospel Assembly, 34 Mount Pleasant Ave. East on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Victoria Beach Cemetery, NS in the spring.
