BELL, ALFRED M. "SCOTTY" - The death of Alfred M. "Scotty" Bell of Smithtown, husband of Lulu Bell occurred December 29, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Dumfries, Scotland, son of the late James and Annie (Myers) Bell. Scotty was an instructor at Saint John Community College retiring in 1979. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the RCAF. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Smithtown, Hammond River Valley Seniors, Hampton Curling Club, The Corinthian Lodge No. 13 F.&A.M., Royal Canadian Legion Hampton Branch 28 and RCAF Association. He is survived by his wife Lulu, one daughter, Jo-Anne Stevens (Rod Monahan), Hampton; one brother, Robin Bell, Australia; one grandson, Jason Stevens (Morgan), Smithtown; two great granddaughters, Sydney and Keely, several nieces and nephews.
