Valerie LeBlanc 1937-2008 Valerie LeBlanc, 71, of Chênes de Membré Residence, Shediac and formerly of Grand-Barachois passed away at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Friday, July 4, 2008 after a brief illness. Born January 1, 1937 in Robichaud, he was the son of the late Eddy LeBlanc and the late Lucie Léger. Mr. LeBlanc was a past C.N.R. employee and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 10251, Edgar T. LeBlanc of Grand Barachois. He will be sadly missed by a sister, Léona Bourque of the Villa Providence, Shediac; and a brother, Edwin LeBlanc (Anita) of Shediac; four sisters-in-law, Ida LeBlanc and Géraldine LeBlanc both of Grand-Barachois, Yvonne LeBlanc and Olga Doucette both of Moncton; a special friend, Anna Cormier-Bourque of Shediac; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Albertine Murphy, Florida LeBlanc, Alma LeBlanc; and by four brothers, Joseph, Henri, Émile and Gilbert LeBlanc. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure 10:10 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Saint-Henri R.C. Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
