It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Gilley announce her passing on Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in 90th year. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Philip; her children: Ann (Randolph) Hopkins of Englee, Marjorie Canning of Deer Lake, Calvin (Mildred) of Luneburg, N.S., Jasper (Brenda) of Deer Lake, David (Jan) of Abbotsford, BC., and Patsy (Ming) Anstey of Deer Lake; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Naomi (Garland) Canning of Pasadena, Emma (Clifford) Brown of Grand Falls, and Jessie (Melvin) Decker of Roddicton; two brothers: Kenneth (Mary) Adams of Roddicton and Harold (Venis) of Fredericton, NB, daughter-in-law Annie and son-in-law Stan Hancock; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands: Thomas Blanchard and Tobias Canning, children: Beulah and Thomas, daughter-in-law Marjorie, son-in-law Rene Canning. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake today, Thursday, from 7-9 pm. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2:00 pm. from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at the family plot on Wights Road.
