Peacefully at home on Sunday, March 7, 2010, of Ira F. Reeves, Pleasant Street, Kensington, age 75 years.
Born in Burlington on June 23, 1934, son of the late Alfred and Clara (MacIntyre) Reeves. Brother of Muriel Stavert (Jim Wall), Indian River; Inez Wall (Ellsworth, deceased), New Annan; Mildred Stewart (Cecil, deceased), Kensington; Georgie (Barry) Bertram, Margate; and his faithful pet and friend, “Kitty”. Brother-in-law of Amy Reeves (Bruce Champion), Kensington; Minnie Reeves (Ernest Carr), Summerside; and Graham (Linda) Chappell, Charlottetown. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sister, Alma Chappell; brothers, Vernon and Leaman Reeves; half brother, Daniel Buzzle (Lillian, deceased); brothers-in-law, George Champion, Walter Stavert, Ellsworth Bassett and Elmer Chappell.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Kensington.
