It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dolorosa (Dola) Ryan (nee Gallant), of Stephenville, announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the age of 94 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sisters: Mary (Gallant) Murphy and her husband Junior S. Murphy of Franklin, West Virginia, Agnes Gallant of Stephenville and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Martin Ryan and her parents, Andrew and Anne Gallant and brothers, Arthur and Gerard Gallant and sisters, Hilda Goodland, Genevieve Paillé, Sarah Margaret Fitzpatrick. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville with interment at the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to St. Stephen’s Parish Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
