The death occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, of Raymond Stanley Stewart of Montague.
Born Sept. 4, 1945, son of Bruce and Jean Stewart, formerly of Wood Islands. Survived by mother, Jean Gillis, Montague; sister, Shirley MacLeod, Montague; special friend, Sheila Johnston, Primrose; daughters, Jeannie Stewart, New Brunswick; Amanda Stewart, Dartmouth, N.S.; aunt and uncle, Lloyd and Wanda Gillis, Belle River; and nephews, John (Nicole) MacLeod, Charlottetown; Brian (Tracy) MacLeod, Montreal. Predeceased by father, Bruce; infant brother, Bruce Stanley; and brother-in-law, Edward MacLeod.
No visitation by personal request. A graveside service at Wood Islands Cemetery will be held in late April.
