Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Mary M. Avery of Clarenville, aged 85 years. Predeceased by husband Ronald; parents Joseph and Alice Smith; son Victor; grandsons Justin and Jonathan; and sisters Annie and Rita. Left with fond and loving memories are sons: Lloyd (Peggy) and Craig (Denise); daughter Jennifer (Ralph) Smith; daughter-in-law Diane; brothers: Roy (Doris), Victor, and Ben (Pearl); sisters: Gwen (Vivian), Muriel (Ed), and Bernice (Bill); grandchildren: Keith (Lynette), Karen, Ashley, Brittany, Grant (Nancy), Jason (Stephanie), Kelly (Brian), Kristen and Kimberly; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Sophia, Callie and Lana; along with a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville with visitation on Thursday, March 11 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m. as well as Friday, March 12 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Clarenville with interment at the United Church Cemetery, Church Hill Road, Clarenville. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church or the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital.
