1919 - 2010 - Lucie Richard, 91 of Résidence du Havre, Richibucto and formerly of Saint-Ignace, has passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 13th, 2010 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent. She was married to the late Marcel W. Richard (1980). Born in Saint-Louis de Kent on January 13th, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Francois and the late Mélida (Daigle) Daigle. Lucie did volunteer work in both her parish and at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent for numerous years.
She will be sadly missed by her eleven children, Donalda Richard (Jean) of Châteauguay, QC, Carmen Pelletier (Marcel) of Delson, QC, Réjeanne Bourelle (Denis) of Brossard, QC, Pierrette Boulé (Michel Lamothe) of Saint-Hyacinthe, QC, Florence Laurin (Gérard), Adrienne Boivin (Gaétan) both of St Constant, QC, Francine Richard- LeBlanc (Clarence), Fernand (Aurella) both of Bouctouche, Aldéric (Yvonne) of Saint-Ignace, Cyrille (Sophie) of St-Elie d’Orford, QC, and Avila of Moncton, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one sister Thérèse Moore of Kentville, NS and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two daughters in infancy,Rita and Marie, three sisters, Rosaline, Olympe, Régina and two brothers, Luc and Pierre.
Visitation will be held at the Thompson’s Memorial Home, Saint-Louis de Kent on Tuesday, March 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Ignace-Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace on Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
