    “Dear Eleanor, Janice and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Trevor’s home-going. How well I remember sitting in the congregation at the Main Street church, in the summer, when my Dad preached there, and enjoying the music as Trevor played. I don’t think I have ever known anyone to play a Hammond as skillfully as he did. He always had an encouraging word, as well as helpful advice, for this young church musician. I remember playing the organ at Main Street one Sunday when he was away; and I believe you and I played together in the evening service. One summer Trevor recommended that the Rothesay (I think) church ask me to play in the absence of their musician; a real encouragement to a neophyte. I know that Trevor will be greatly missed, but the music in Heaven just got elevated by his presence. Be assured of our prayers for you in these days.

“My sincere condolences. Both my Dad, Les Jones, and I worked with Mr. Neill at Downey\'s. Dad and Trevor remained friends even after both retired. Mr. Neill always had a warm smile and greeting for all those whose lives he touched. He will be missed.”
