At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, of M. Bernice Gallant (nee Doiron), Charlottetown, age 80 years. Beloved wife of Paul Gallant. Dear mother of Carl, Bob (Dawn), Donald, Dianne Gallant (Ronnie). Mother-in-law of Alfie Wakelin. Lovingly remembered by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of Eleanor Gallant, Omer Doiron (Pearl), Ramona Murray (Don), Louis Doiron (Ruth), Roy Doiron (Arlene) and Ed Doiron (Linda). Sister-in-law of Bernice Doiron, Leona Doiron, Mildred Doiron, and Hubert Blanchard. Predeceased by her parents, Adolphe and Emma (Pineau) Doiron, by her daughters Carol Wakelin and Joan Gallant, by her brothers and sister Dr. Aubin Doiron, Peter Doiron, Arthur Dorion, Claire Blanchard, Edwin Doiron, Eileen Doiron, and by her brother-in-law, Elbert Gallant. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Friday at 9:45, then to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visitation Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
