1930-2010 The Community will be saddened to learn of the passing of Marjorie Joan (Wortman) Smith of Florenceville, NB on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born at Shediac Cape, NB to the late Alfred and Mildred (Hoyt) Wortman. Survived by a daughter Joan McCarthy (Dale) Washington, sons, Alfred (Sharon) Charleston, NB, Clifton (Nancy) Mt. Delight, her grandchildren, Cliff Smith (Ashley), Andrew McCarthy (Jessica), Sabrina Smith (Derrick), Allyson Schrader (Mathew), Sara Pryde (Jim), Zachary Smith, great-grand-children, Tucker Smith, Alexander McCarthy, a sister, Kathleen Dandurand (Jean) Dorvall, Que., two brothers, Lorne Wortman (Marjorie) Moncton, NB, Donald Wortman (Barb) Riverview, NB, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents She was predeceased by her husband, David and a brother, Fred Wortman.
Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Rd. Jacksonville NB, where friends may call on Friday, March 19 ,2010 from 2 to 4 , 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 20 at 11:00 am from St. James Anglican Church, Centreville, NB. Interment will be at a later date in the adjoining Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. James Anglican Church or to a memorial of the Donors choice.
