Christie, Dorothy Edith
Dorothy Edith Christie of Oromocto passed away peacefully with her family around her at the Oromocto Public Hospital on April 1st, 2010. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Ivy (Berry) Hoare.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Donald Christie (Late Carolyn) of Dartmouth, NS, Deborah Christie of Truro, NS, Roberta Christie of Fredericton, NB and Sandy Bourque (Dan) of Waasis, NB; grandchildren Shelly, Angela, Tia, Shannon, Kaylee and Amanda; nine great-grandchildren and two sisters, Winnifred Crocker (Donald) of Moncton, NB and Margaret Hoare of England.
There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held from St. John's Anglican Church, Oromocto on Monday, April 5th, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society or to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family. Oromocto Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.oromoctofh.com (357-5100)
