It is with great sadness that the family of the late Isabel McDonald announce her passing on Thursday, April 1st, 2010 at the Interfaith Home in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Jim McDonald; Deer Lake, brothers and sisters-in-law: Bob (Mary) McDonald; Deer Lake, Ron (Marg) McDonald; Deer Lake, Helen (John) Heffler; Dartmouth NS, Bonnie (Roy) Gaudon; Port au Port, and special friend Robert Hayes; Deer Lake, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James, sisters and brothers: Donna O'Brien, Margaret Kennedy, Eileen Ball, Mary Pilgrim, Florence Healey, Tom Healey and Pat Healey. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive Deer Lake on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, the funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010, from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Deer Lake at 2 PM with Monsignor Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Wight's Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
