LEGER - Charles E, 79, of Shediac, formerly of Grand-Barachois, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Villa Providence in Shediac where he resided. Born September 11, 1930 in Grand-Barachois, he was the son of the late Edgar and Lina (Doiron) Leger. He was retired and former co-owner of Les Serres Leger in Grand-Barachois. Charles also enjoyed playing cards and darts. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, Léonie (née LeBlanc); his seven loving children: Guy (Joceline) of Quispamsis, Charline Boudreau (Roland) of Harvey, Jean (Phyllis) and Roland (Robin) of Shediac, Daniel (Henry) of Mississauga, Roger (Nicole) and Monette of Dieppe; seven grandchildren: Jean-François, Mélanie, Johnathan, Danika, Joël, Joline, and Isabelle; a sister, Valida Fortin (Raymond) of Sudbury, a brother, Arthur (Yolande) of Grand-Barachois, many nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Eugénie, and a brother, Adrice.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette`s Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Monday, April 5 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., and Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until departure (10:10). The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri-de-Barachois R.C. Church, Grand-Barachois, on Tuesday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Charles, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.
