(1939-2010) - Passed peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father on April 16, 2010, Eugene Breen of Riverhead, St. Mary's Bay. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Breen, and his sister and brother-in-law Johanna and Edwin Konieczny. Leaving to mourn with gratitude for his life, wife Marg, daughter Cindy (Bill Whalen); granddaughters: Kayla Hussey (Mark Curtis) and Kristen Hussey (Michael Luther); son Glenn (Colleen), grandsons Vincent, Nate, and Joe, and granddaughter Catherine; sisters: Mary White, Gertrude (George) Bradley, Elizabeth (Bob) Greene; brothers: Sam (Irene), Jim (Marg), Pat, Steve, Tom (Mary Kenny), Mike (Barbara), Joe (Agnes), Bill (Veronica); special nephew Aiden (Brenda); brother-in-law Al (Bridget) Daly; sisters-in-law: Shirley Robichaud (Chris Anderson), Georgina (Wayne) Johansen and Carol (Jim) Christopher; plus many nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends. Resting at Gibbons' Funeral Home Sunday, April 18, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, April 19, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. No visitation Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Assumption Church, St. Mary's, on Tuesday, April 20 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Cemetery in Riverhead. No flowers by request.
