It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Douglas Warford announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, on Sunday, April 25th, 2010, in his 71st year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Rosena Doris nee Troke, his children; Lorraine Warford (Shannon Weir) of Hampden, Yvonne (Randell Callan) of Delhi, Ontario., & Byron (Rhonda) of Kitchener, Ontario, his 8 grandchildren; Candace Warford, Justice, Randell, & Byron Callan, Tyler & Chloe Warford, & Charmaine (Darryl Pynn) & Chad Warford., his siblings; Almore (Marie) of Hampden, Edmond (Margaret) of Isle Au Morte, Mrs. Emily Batstone of Corner Brook, & Mrs. Lillian Palmer of Bonvisita, his daughter in law; Pansy Warford. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends & his extended family. George was predeceased by his parents; James & Maratha Louise Warford, his sons; Wayne, his brothers; Nathanial, Harry, & William, his brothers in law; Fred Batstone, & Reginald Palmer. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Pentecostal Church in Hampden from the hours of 7 - 9 pm, today Monday, April 26th, 2010. Where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, April 27th, 2010 at 2 pm with Pastors: Stanley & Pastor: Ball officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Hampden. No flowers as requested by the family. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Western Memorial Hospital for their, compassion, dignity, and respect that was shown to their loved one, & also Cheryl Powers of the A.L.Socitiey .
