Mrs. Greta Melissa Coates of 157 Church Ave and formerly of Main Street, Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on April 26, 2010 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of the late Percy Raymond McEwen and Ethel Regina (Kelso) and the wife of the late Ronald Irvine Coates who passed away in 1994. Greta is survived by her sister, Celia Brown of Ottawa, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother "Bud" Raymond McEwen and by two sisters, Doris Waddington and Madeline McEwen.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of Greta's life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Thursday, April 29th at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
