Born on July 16, 1928, in Manuels, Newfoundland, Harvey McCray passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital, in Napanee, Ontario on Saturday, April 24, 2010 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 53 years to Lillian Eileen (nee Pelley). Loving father of Kenneth of Toronto. Brother of the late Kenneth, the late Rita Taylor, Eric and Gerald of Manuels, N.L., Lloyd of Hamilton, and Mary Porter of Edmonton. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, his neighbours and friends. The family will receive friends at the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, Township Chapel, 435 Davis Drive (Centennail at Taylor-Kidd) in Kingston, ON on Tuesday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place in our chapel on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Reverend Gerry Moore officiating. Interment following at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the Parkinsons Foundations.
