It is with great sadness that we announce that Bill Irwin passed away peacefully at home in Vancouver on April 2nd, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family.

Bill was born June 23, 1950 in Campbell River, B.C. and was the youngest of six children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Debbie, children Taryn, Brandon and his wife Ailish and grandchildren Esme, Keaghan, Hudson, Rowan, and Easton. He also leaves behind their daughter Deanna Lloyd and her children Kara and Alyssa. He is also survived by his siblings Don Irwin, Diane Fong, Gail Patterson, and Judy Clarke and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Bill was predeceased by his parents Violet and Hugh Statham and his sister Sharon Almquist.

A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m., at the UBC Chapel of the Epiphany, 6030 Chancellor Blvd, Vancouver, B.C. Parking available in the Chan Rose Garden parkade.
Please make any donations in lieu of flowers in Bill's name to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Burn Unit at your local hospital.
