1948-2010 - Miramichi - Sheila Edith Kolody, wife of Donald F. Kolody, of King Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the age of 62. Born in Chatham, on April 5, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eunice (Adams) Belding. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Salvation Army Church, Miramichi. She is survived by her husband Donald; one daughter, Sheila Gallant (Jody), of Miramichi; one son, Donald F. Kolody Jr., of Saskatoon, SK; two grandchildren, Isabella and Dylan Gallant; two sisters, Laura MacDonald (Leonard), of Black River Bridge and Diane MacDonald (Dale), of Point Aux Carr; four brothers, Lawrence Adams (Audrey), of Black River Bridge, Wilfred Belding, Frank Belding (Grace), all of Miramichi, Jarvis Belding, of Toronto, Ont.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Grant, James and Tony Belding.
By her request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The public are invited to attend a funeral service to be held from St. Stephen's United Church, Black River Bridge, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 2 pm, conducted by Capt. Wilson Sutton. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Henri Cormier Lodge, in Moncton, the Black River Cemetery Fund, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
