It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Hazel Graves of Burton NB announce her passing at the Oromocto Hospital on Friday, July 30th 2010. Born in Fredericton NB on August 17th 1925 she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ida Neilson.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Willard Murray Graves and her four daughters Dianne ( Peter) Barnes of Swan Creek, Murratte Graves (Joe Foote) of Hunter Lake, ReBecca (Wayne) Paterson of Sussex, Melinda (Curtis) Mallery of Gagetown, one son Raymond Graves of Fort St John BC, nine grandchildren, Winnie, Charity, Patrick, Adam, Niomia, Tyron, Rebecca, Jordan, Cole, seven great grand children, one brother Neil Neilson, and two sisters Shirley Stannick and Leona Maynard.
Marjorie was a veteran of WW 2 and had served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Later in life, after her children were grown she worked at CFB Gagetown for 20 years.
A Celebration of Marjorie's life will be held at the Burton Lions Community Center on August 1st 2010 2 to 4pm.
For those who wish, memorial tributes in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lymphoma Foundation Canada in lieu of flowers.
