1924 - 2010 - Annie A. Price of Riverview and formerly of Turtle Creek passed away Saturday, July 31 at the Grass Nursing Home. Born January 24, 1924 in Dawson Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Wellington I. and Hazel L. (Cole) Steeves. Annie had attended the Lower Turtle Creek Baptist Church, she was a life member of Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch # 6, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Annie was an avid dart player and truly enjoyed the time spent volunteering for the Canadian Red Cross. She is survived by her children; Gwen Tower (Nathan), Wendy Price (Mark Lutes) both of Turtle Creek, Dennis (Marion) of Riverview, sisters; Marion Steeves of Moncton, Jessie (Jim) of Hull, PQ, brother; Tom (Jean) of Coverdale Rd., daughter-in-law; Deborah of Turtle Creek, sister-in-law Wanda Steeves of Riverglade, eight grandchildren; Stephen, Karen, Penny, Heather, Kevin, Shauna, Candy and Mindy and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Claude G. Price, son Richard C., sisters; Peggy, Dora and Theresa, brothers; Bliss, Lester, Eldon, Wellie, Wetmore and Elmore.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, the Royal Canadian Legion Moncton Branch No. 6 will hold a memorial service at the funeral Monday at 6:45 PM. The funeral service will be held from Cobb's Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 1 PM with Rev. Blake Bartlett officiating. Interment to follow at Dawson Settlement Baptist Church Cemetery. Donations to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
