Ron Breau of Riverview passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Pro Tem Nursing Home at the age of 73. Born October 31, 1936 in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Amedee and Clare (Cormier) Breau. Ron was a person who believed in hard work and was the founder and owner of the Metro Auto Clinic. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and cheering on the beloved Montreal Canadiens. He will forever be in the hearts of his wife Anita (DesRoches) Breau, son Brian (Parise Cormier) of Dieppe daughter, Nicole Breau (Chris McSheffery) of Moncton, sister Gemma Lelievre (Robert) and brother, Fernando (Roberte) both of Massachusetts, four grandchildren, Maxime, Nicolas, Jillian and Kathryn, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Aurea and Yolande, brothers, Omer, Archie, Raoul and Ulysse.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, with parish prayers and sharing of memories to take place at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Riverview on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11 AM, with Father Phil Mulligan presiding.
