It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Jane Cooper announce her passing at the Lohnes Complex on Monday, August 30, 2010, at the age of 85 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her daughter, Barbara (Roland) of Gaultois; her sons: Gordon (Sheila) of Halifax, Nathan (Diane) of Ottawa, Calvin (Ruby) of Gaultois and Benjamin Jr. (Marie) of Corner Brook; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings: Eva Piercey, Berathina Langdon, Alice Piercey (Joe), Nathan Fudge (Shirley), Stella Fudge (Jerry), Jesse Fudge (Emily), Evelyn Keeping (Reg); sister-in-law Amy Lilly, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Benjamin S. Cooper (June 8, 2009); brother, William Lilly; brothers-in-law: Job Piercey and Robert Charles Langdon. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
