Date de décès : 31 août 2010
He has left us. After a long, hard fought battle in the early morning of August 31, 2010 at the Halifax Infirmary, David went to a better place. After complications with his transplanted heart, God decided David had suffered enough. Left behind with many wonderful memories are his loving mother, Cathy Connors, adoring brothers Michael and Stephen, his grandmother Nora Connors and Bern, and Aunt Edwina (Mike). Also leaving to mourn are his father Bill Lockman (Cathee), Aunts Brenda (Allan), Patsy (Don), Joanne (Rick), Uncle Gerard (Karen), numerous cousins, many treasured friends - especially André, Liam, Devan, Luc, Ruffles, April and their baby and his loyal 4-legged friend, Darcy. David has touched and inspired many with his amazing courage in his 19 years. Dearly loved - never forgotten! Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 3 p.m. - 9 pm. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 3rd, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Church, Mount Pearl. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted but David may have preferred donations to Ronald McDonald House or the Children's Wish Foundation. Please visit www.cauls.ca to sign the online guest book.
“Cathy , Mike and Steve,
We have known you guys for 13 yrs, we have watched David grow to be a fine young man, but we have also watched his suffering over the years. We have to believe that he is in a better place where there is no longer any pain or suffering and that he will continue to be with us in our hearts, and with all the wonderful memories he has left us . He was a trooper til the very end. Always in our hearts ,
Anita and Fabian”

“Cathy, Michael, Stephen, Aunt Nora, and Edwina,
David was an inspiration to all those who met him. He faced many battles in life but yet remained positive and was an absolute character. Sometimes it is hard to see 19 years as a blessing but 'truly blessed' where those who got to spend time with him.
Share precious memories and don't be afraid lean on those who love you during this difficult time.
All our Love,
Tanya and Chubbs

“Words cannot express how sad and sorry we feel on the loss of David. He was an extraordinary young man, even though he had suffered so much over the years, he was one of the most kindest, funniest, caring and sensitive people we ever had the privledge of knowing. Caitlyn and Dave shared a very special friendship/bond from the time they first met in Junior High and it is something that she will cherish for the rest of her life. He was her constant and dependable friend and we will never forget him. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this very difficult time. ”

“If I had to choose words to describe Dave, there isnt any. I am lost for words to try and explain how incredibly sorry I am for the passing of Dave. He was one of a kind and his love and enthusiasm for life was something to be admired. My sister Caitlyn will miss him dearly, there is a big void in her life now that Dave is gone. Their special friendship was a friendship that one can only ever dream of having. He was loyal to her and always there for her. He made her laugh and all of us laugh until we cried and smile until our faces hurt. It doesnt matter how far best friends are away from eachother they will always be best friends”
“Cathy, Micheal and Steven. As your close neighour and friend I have watched David Live Love and Laugh.
I have also watched his pain and yours. He is now in Gods loving arms.

Cindy & Leo.”
