The family of the late Norman "Blackie" MacPherson who passed away suddenly, Aug. 7, 2010 would like to extend sincere thanks to the following people:
Special thanks to the RN's and First Responders who worked so tirelessly performing CPR before EMS arrived. Thanks to Fr. Norman MacPhee for his comforting words and prayer for Blackie at the time of his passing and for his wonderful Eulogy at the memorial. Thanks also to Rev. Bobby Hussey for his many phone calls, visits with us and his heart warming Eulogy. We'd also like to thank the Mira Gaelic Choir & Flora Gardiner for the music Blackie so loved at the service, Rene Michelski for his solo and Bethel Church choir for singing "MacPherson's Lament". Thank you to all the pallbearers: Johny, David, Scott & Douglas MacPherson (all nephews) and Mac Leadbeater & Victor Ravanello (close friends). Thanks also to the numerous VON nurses who visited Norman weekly. For all the visits, phone calls, flowers, food sympathy & memorial cards, charitable donations - your kindness will never be forgotten.
