It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hezekiah "Kye" McDonald announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: his loving wife of 58 years, Mary (nee Payne); children: Lola, Geraldine (Vaughan), Marilyn and Jim; special grandson, Jason (Stephanie); grandchildren: John, Jessica, Robert, Brent (Michelle), Lesley and Jennifer (Steve); great-grandchildren: Liam, Demitra and Allyssa; special friends Lucy and Austin and a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth; brother, Jim and son-in-law, Colin. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at St. Mary's Anglican Church in Curling on Sunday, September 5th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Anglican Church Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
