“No matter how long You've know it's coming, when tragedy strikes, people are at a loss for words and right now, I'm one of them.
Gordie will be missed and forever in many, many people's memories. I know that over Four Decades, I have lots of good memories of Gordie in Home, next door, the cottage. A fave when he came to HFX. to take me to the Casino when I had Cancer, then later at "the cottage." There was a soft side to Gordie that alot of people didn't get to see, but I did. I know God is taking care of Gordie now.
Don't forget over the years, with my Nikon cameras :) I took many pictures of Gordie, Janet, Dottie and Justin... all the family and if you'd like me to search for them let me know and I'll scan and/or have reprints done for you.
Take good care and God bless Clarence, Justin and all the rest of 'the family.' ... Shelley .B
