Lois Boan of Moose Jaw peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the age of eight-seven years. Born May 12, 1923 in Moose Jaw, Lois attended the Enterprise School south of the city. She married Stan Boan in August of 1944 and the couple moved to the Camlachie district where they farmed. Lois has been a resident of High Park Towers for a number of years. Predeceased by her parents: Ernest and Agnes Brownlee, her husband; Stan, son: Ken, sister Francis and son-in-law Cecil Sipes. She is survived by her daughter; Dorothy Boan-Sipes - Waterloo, ON; son: Garry (Sheryl) - Calgary; granddaughters: Sherry, Corinna (Jeff), Denise (Earl); grandsons: Michael, Nathan (Toni) and five great-grandchildren: Jessica, Raychel, Amy, Hans and McKenzie, also her brother: Keith (Deli) Brownlee and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. from the W.J. Jones & Son Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Albert St. Regina, S4R 2N2, or the Diabetes Association, 917 Albert St. Regina, S4R 2P6.
