Passed peacefully away at her home on Monday, September 6, 2010, Mary Stack of Petty Harbour, at the age of 78 years. Predeceased by her husband Clarence, daughter Lucille Cook, parents Lucy and George Harnett, parents-in-law Edward and Gladys Stack, brother Ray Harnett, brother-in-law Gus (Ester) and sister-in-law Pauline (Richard). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her seven children: Katrina, Rosemary Snow (Fred), Joan Croke (Len), David (Michelle), Nick (Carmel), Colleen Croke (Wayne) and Jody; son-in-law Jeff Cook; twelve cherished grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister Ann Brennan (Mike, deceased); brother Joe Harnett (Rita); sisters-in-law: Rosemary (John), Kay (Ron, deceased), Patricia (Gerard), Yvonne (Bob, deceased); brothers-in-law: Jack (Maude), Arthur (Florence) and Edward, and her wonderful friend and neighbor, Mary Howlett. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday, September 7th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, September 8th from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, September 9th at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church, Petty Harbour. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Petty Harbour. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
