Dale Briggs
Dale Briggs, age 51, of Residence de L'Aboiteau, Dieppe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Walter Briggs (Irene Lane) of Melrose and Florence (Lane) Briggs of Moncton. In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Jessica Briggs, Moncton, his wife, Mary Dawn Briggs, a sister, Lorraine (Jean Noel) Lirette, Moncton, niece Mariah and nephew Tanner. Cremation has taken place under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, N.B. (506-538-2241). A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Bayfield Cemetery at a later date.
