Kenneth Arthur Bugden, 84, West Vancouver, B.C., died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Sydney, N.S., he was the son of the late Charles and Ida (Steven) Bugden.
Ken was a teacher in Sydney, Lachine, P.Q., and West Vancouver, B.C. He is survived by his wife, Helen (King) of Sydney, N.S.; sons, Earl (Debra), of Mississauga, Ont., and George (Nadine), of Surrey, B.C.; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Mark, Heather and Michelle; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Trevor Bugden, Sydney, and sisters, Elva Bugden, Sydney, Muriel Meisner and Ruple Meisner, Port Hawkesbury.
A private funeral will be held in West Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
