Suddenly, at his late residence, on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, of Mr. Elmer Power of MacRae Dr., Cornwall, in his 83rd year.
Elmer was the son of the late Martin Edmund and Helen (Morrissey) Power. He will be missed by his aunt Mary Morrissey, cousins Alvin Beagan (Viola), Reggie Power (Laura), a number of cousins and friends from St. Dunstan's.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Friday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Joachim's Parish Cemetery, Vernon River.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday 6 to 9 p.m.
If so desired, memorial contributions in Elmer's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the P.E.I. Humane Society.
