It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ross Barney of Catalina, NL. announce his passing at Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau on Sept. 14, 2010 at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories wife Shirley; son Ross Charles; daughter Kim (Jim Cuff), Terry, Sara, and Justin, and a large circle of the Barney and Hicks families, as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John Charles and Alma Barney, and brothers Cyril and Walter. Visitation took place at the Anglican Church in L'Anse au Loup on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral took place on Friday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Gosse and Fr. Hann officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery in L'Anse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
