Catalina. Jan. 28, 1948 - Sept. 14, 2010. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ross Barney announce his passing at Labrador South Health Centre in Forteau with his family at his side on Sept. 14th, 2010 at the age of 62. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife Shirley; son Ross Charles; daughter Kim (Jim Cuff), Terry, Sara, and Justin. and a large circle of the Barney and Hicks family as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: John Charles and Alma Barney, brothers Cyril and Walter. Friends may visit the Anglican Church in Lanse Au Loup on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service will take place on Friday Sept. 17th, @ 3 pm. with Rev. Gosse and Fr. Hann officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery in Lanse au Loup. As expressions of sympathy flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Lanse au Loup.
